Winter gig review/evaluation

Today,we had a gig in room no. 139 in the college,Level 2 and level 3music performance students meaning all of us had performed the songs we had been practicing during the Band workshop classes and Songwriting sessions/classes.

It was a good performance and also I feel that this is the end of the term and which is why we had been performing our original songs as well.

So first the level 2 music performers performed on stage,the song which I liked best was the song named happy by phirall williams and I liked the way the singers and especially Peter sang and a good sense of rhythm.

Then after the level 2 music performers,it was our turn,I was first with my group band members which consisted of Beatriz,Russa,Danielle and I who were the singers,Olly on the guitar/Bass,Ivan on the piano and Junior who is a music production student was the drummer,We had a good time engaging with the audience,and also it was good that I sang,because usually I keep playing the piano and my friends could watch me sing as they never heard me before apart from the music certificate performance which happened in October,I liked watching the other performers as well and being a good audience,I feel good by James brown was the one which we practiced in the band workshop classes.
 Then  in between there were other L 3Music performers performing on stage,All those performers meaning who were the ones who were performing on the original songs of there own,The elements are Found Sound,Ostinato,Strings etc.I'm  In the last two performances,I performed again on stage with the group band members,The second last one was an original song called 'to the river running free',the element was Ostinato,which is a repeated phrase throughout the most of our music band performances,The Ostinato performance Consists of Marco and Kyrah who were the vocalists,Hasna on the guitar,Russa on the bass,Junior on the drums and I as the pianist playing the Ostinato in the choruses of the Song.
The next one was the song which we again played in the Band workshop was teardrop by Massive Attack.Another thing is that the Song Superstition  and teardrop are in two of the performances because there are two different people and especially the drummers. So in the first part of Superstition,Morgan is playing the drum and in the second part of Superstition,the drummer is Junior.Same thing for teardrop by Massive Attacks.I was in the last one in Junior's group for teardrop song.It is the same band and there was one more person I forgot to mention,Mimi was playing the Guitar in Both teardrop and I feel good.Olly was on the bass in I feel good. The only difference in teardrop was,I played the piano and Ivan shifted to the keyboard.I played the chords very well but there were a few mistakes but it was ok,But I at least participated.

Another thing I wanted to say is that,I do practice at home imagining that the group band is already with me and I am playing/singing with them but when we perform together in college,It is a little different as to what we are doing,for example in Superstition and I feel good,We had to change the key.Next time we will ensure that we perform better and improve our skills in the course and in life.Otherwise everything is Ok and I was happy that I performed well today.

The content of the performance was that the key signature had to be changed in I feel good,rhythm was the same,In our original songs,the Ostinato was changed prior to rehearsals.
