What I plan to acheive from this project is that I will,keep practicing and rehearsing my skills in order to do better for the future,Like practicing my Singing and my piano,Whether it is Indian Classical,Western Classical music etc.When I am about to rehearse with a band group,I will always make sure that I have the right chords and lyrics to practice the songs.
This project is more of being independent and we choose what we want to do as part of our choices.

What I have been doing as part of this project up till now is that I have prepared a presentation to Speak on Wednesday about my Final major Project.What I plan to do is to focus on Something which is relevant to what I am doing for the Gig on 24th of May.Like I just put some research points of Castle of Glass into word and Sent it to my Student Support tutor and he will help me to do this Final Coursework related to my final Project and which is relevant to the songs as they are related to Pop music.In the previous weeks,I had been doing research as part of Musical performance like Musical Ensembles and other types of Research,But now after this presentation before the upcoming deadline I plan to research more about Pop music and Case study of Castle of Glass and do much better that before.
I had felt that there was a time pressure because my group band didn't have enough time to rehearse with me,I had been practicing the songs myself.I have also been practicing my own music,playing my own songs,And making my own music with the black and white keys.
But they are still in my band for the gig.We are still rehearsing.

Case studies are such as The Man of Portugal,Musicians and Mortality etc.The one which inspired me the most is The man of Portugal,It basically says that you should not keep rehearsing with the band but to also to recap your parts as to what to do for the band and practice your own music and the Musicians and Mortality case study talks about when people keep practicing their own music,people call it Nonsense as part of their opinions.
I have been practicing my own music like composing with black and white keys to make my own music of my Choice,and practicing songs which I like,not exactly by the music sheet but mostly by ear,unless I need to find chords to prepare for the band and if their is a keyboard excercise test.
Progress/What I still need to do:-
Overall,I can say that all of this is good research but not very relevant as to what songs I am doing for the Gig as part of my performance based skills for the project,So I did some research of a case study of Castle of Glass and researching about pop music because the song which I am doing for the Gig,are all pop music related songs.
But just for knowledge and as part of my opinion,I felt like doing research related to music performance as to not waste time.
